I need to find a book about the rise of the automobile and how it changed American society. Why? For my 8th Grade final research paper in American History. Of course, I chose a topic about cars. But, I need a book as a source. So, I came here to ask if anyone would recommend one. The only requirement is that it is something easy to find at a book store or on Amazon. If anyone has a good recommendation, I would really appreciate it.

Two suggestions:

This piece talks about different ways cars impacted the country, and might give you ideas on specifics you’ll want to look for in books.

This book sounds promising but I haven’t read it. Here’s something the author wrote in advance.
